Josie Guizar has been recognized for her commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Josie is a Respiratory Care Practitioner working in our Respiratory Care department. She joined our hospital in September 2014.
Josie was nominated by two co-workers. One of them had this to say:
“Josie helped me so much during my orientation and training days, and I just wanted her to get the recognition she deserves.”
Another employee said this: “Josie is hands down someone you want on your team during a rapid response, a code, or even just for day-to-day patient care. She will always find a way to give 110% to her team and assist in any way she can. Josie has never once turned away when
she sees someone in need of assistance, whether it be a patient or co-worker. Josie steps up when her unit is short staffed and never lets the stress of the job affect her personality and character when working! She’s a pleasant person to work with and we are so thankful for her here on the Subacute unit.”
