Employees at East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital have reason to celebrate as the hospital’s Subacute Unit has earned a 5-Star CMS Medicare Rating. The accolade was announced this week.
“This outstanding recognition is a direct reflection of our staff’s unwavering dedication, compassionate care, and commitment to excellence,” said Chief Nursing Officer June Dumaguet. “Their hard work, teamwork, and tireless efforts have truly made a difference in the lives of our patients and families.”
Just two years ago, the 25-bed unit’s Medicare rating was two stars. Jamila Baxter serves as the unit’s director of nursing.
“Achieving a 5-star CMS rating for our Subacute Unit is a testament to the exceptional care and dedication of our medical staff and employee team in service to our community,” said hospital CEO Hector Hernandez.
“This recognition underscores our commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. The prestigious 5-star rating not only highlights the excellence of our Subacute Unit, but also reinforces East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital’s reputation as a leading healthcare provider.”
