Congratulations to East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital for meeting the Gold Seal standards of the American College of Radiology’s Commission on Quality and Safety.
Specifically, the hospital’s Computed Tomography imaging received accreditation, certifying that the hospital gives patients safe, high-quality imaging with minimal radiation exposure. The CT imaging service is accredited for three years.
“I’m proud of our team for this achievement,” said hospital CEO Hector Hernandez. “This accreditation guarantees that our equipment meets stringent standards, that our technologists are qualified, and that the radiologists are experts in interpreting the images for patient care.”
Hernandez added that the accreditation also confirms that patients receive accurate diagnoses, reducing the need for repeated scans and improving overall care.
