Sweet frozen treats were on tap for employees of East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital April 6 as they enjoyed an ice cream social. The event was their prize for having the greatest percentage of participation in Pipeline Health’s recent employee survey.
Day shift staff enjoyed banana splits with an array of toppings, served by the hospital’s Events Committee and managers. Night shift staff enjoyed a selection of ice cream sandwiches, drumsticks, fudgsicles and Italian ice. Those treats were delivered to each department and nursing station.
East LA won the friendly competition among hospitals with 47.46 percent of all employees taking the online survey to help leadership understand what matters to employees in their place of work. Survey findings will be communicated soon.
