Juana Varrios Garcia is the most recent employee to be honored by East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital with the Exemplary Employee Award for March. The award recognizes outstanding employees who demonstrate their commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Garcia joined East Los Angeles in December 2019 and serves as a EVS Tech for our Surgery Department. She was nominated by six co-workers who had this to say:
“Juanita goes above and beyond for this facility. Never thought she was my mom’s age because she moves so fast. Her work is done with a sense of urgency yet she’s precise. Whenever she’s around, I know for a fact we’re in a clean and organized environment. She is very dedicated to her job and compassionate with everyone she encounters. She’s a pleasure to have around.”
“Juanita is one of the hardest and kindest workers here at East Los Angeles. She comes to work with a positive attitude. Whenever we need anything, we know we can always count on her to do fast and great work. She never delays us. Juanita is very good at her job. She maintains our surgery department – it’s always cleans and smelling nice. She walks around with a smile on her face always and is always willing to help anyone that asks her. She is a pleasure to work with and a genuine all-around good person with a big and kind heart.”
