Dorothy Sorden is our Exemplary Employee for the month of May. An LVN, she joined the East Los Angeles hospital in August 2012 and works on the Sub-acute Unit.
The award recognizes outstanding employees who demonstrate their commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Sorden was nominated by a co-worker who had this to say:
“Dorothy goes above and beyond with not only her patients, but also her coworkers. She’s always willing to step up to help in any way that she can. She makes the unit feel like a second home with her amazing sense of humor as well as personality.”
