Hospital CEO Hector Hernandez, honoree Salome Villegas and Rosa Rivera Bonilla
Salome Villegas is the recipient of our Exemplary Employee Award for June. The award recognizes employee commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Salome joined our hospital in March 1992. He is a Patient Transporter in our Department of Surgery.
Salome was nominated by three co-workers who had this to say:

“He is always willing to help everyone, is friendly with staff and makes the patients feel comfortable.”
“Salome is committed, dependable, and works hard every day he shows up at East LA Doctors Hospital.”
