Ventilator Liberation

One unit. One mission. One team you and your family can rely on.

Ventilator Liberation

Opening in January 2025

Our new Ventilator Liberation Unit is a collaboration between Pipeline Health and TriVent Healthcare. We provide individualized and continuous care, resulting in shorter lengths of stay, superior outcomes and lower readmission rates.

We know ventilator liberation and rehabilitation can be a difficult and challenging time for patients and their families. That is why it is our only focus on the new Ventilator Liberation Unit, opening in January 2025 as a collaboration between Pipeline Health and TriVent, a national leader in ventilator liberation.

We will centralize ventilator-dependent patients in one unit, so our team and patients are side-by-side. This level of access provides patients with a licensed respiratory therapist 24/7/365, along with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists, providing rehabilitation multiple times every day.

Our Services

  • 24-hour care and access to on-site physicians and emergency medical services
  • Daily visits by board-certified attending physicians and specialists
  • Interdisciplinary weekly rounds with the patient, patient’s family, physician(s) and the TriVent medical team

  • Rehabilitation services six days a week (physical, occupational and speech therapy)

For our patients

Our patients will receive the highest level of individualized and continuous care, resulting in shorter lengths of stay, superior outcomes and lower readmissions.

Our dedicated team will help patients recover to their fullest potential as quickly as possible. We have readily accessible units in a safe, monitored and controlled setting, offering personalized care and immediate access to acute critical care services.

Additionally, we will maintain very low patient-to-clinician ratios and strongly encourage family visitation, including overnight stays.

What our patients say

“I know what these patients are feeling. I once felt like my life was on hold, but I used that experience to find a new purpose. I’m living proof that there’s more life ahead, and I want to help these patients stay positive and keep fighting —just like my respiratory therapist did for me.” –Katie, former patient

“I had a lot of support from my family and the TriVent team, but my number one motivation was seeing my four-month-old son. Getting discharged – with a clap out from TriVent – put me one step closer to my baby boy.” – Clif, former patient

Our expertise by the numbers

  • The average length of stay in a TriVent unit is 21 days, a 32% reduction from the national average.
  • The ventilator liberation rate exceeds 83%, nearly 40% higher than the national average.
  • Within 30 days of discharge, our readmission rate is less than 6%, 80% lower than the national average.

Unprecedented Outcomes

As a leading provider of ventilator liberation and pulmonary rehabilitation, TriVent Healthcare has spent more than 30 years collaborating with hospitals to bring families peace of mind. Our approach improves recovery time, reduces hospital stays, and lowers the risk of readmission for medically complex patients.

What sets us apart is our dedicated team, focused entirely on your loved one’s care. We’re not just treating patients—we’re helping families reunite sooner.
