Celina Zamora is the recipient of our Exemplary Employee Award for December. The award recognizes employee commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Zamora joined East LA Doctors Hospital in November 2012 and works as an Environmental Services Technician in the EVS department. She was nominated by 10 co-workers and one patient. Following are some of their comments:
“She is one the most hardworking people in the whole hospital. When she cleans, she deep cleans everything. She cleans and details everything. She leaves the ED smelling clean and fresh!”
“Celina is always cordial and available. She always goes an extra mile, and her area is always neat. She is quick to respond when she is called, and she always does it with a smile. I appreciate Celina very much.”
“She is such a hard worker and a wonderful person. She’s always there to lend a helping hand. She takes her job seriously.”
“Her outstanding performance consistently surpasses the ED’s expectations. Her work ethic goes above and beyond at every ED task she is given and she is truly admirable.”
