Congratulations to Pattawikan “Pam” Phesajsakul, RN, recipient of this month’s Exemplary Employee Award for East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital. The new award recognizes employee commitment to patients, family and co-workers through acts of caring, compassion and excellent customer service.
Phesajsakul joined East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital in December 2023 and works on our Sub-Acute unit. She was nominated by a co-worker who had this to say:
Pam respects the dignity of everyone–from patients and families, to administrators and co-workers. She is a friend to everyone and works with all her capabilities to take care of all residents in our sub-acute unit. She never leaves things undone in the care of our patients. She never gets too tired to help co-workers to do the job. This nurse is never late—and she has just called in sick a few times when she was really sick. In general, Pam does her job with compassion, love and joy to everyone, and she is always faithful to the mission and vision of Pipeline Health and this hospital.
We greatly appreciate Pam’s dedication to her patients. It’s a pleasure to recognize her with the Exemplary Employee Award.
The award carries with it a certificate of recognition, a $100 gift card and use of a premium parking space at our hospital. In addition, each honoree will be featured in our Pulse newsletter as an Exemplary Employee, and honoree photos will be displayed on plaques in a public area of our hospital.
